His academic background is rooted in a Bachelor of Engineering Technical Electronics, completed in Chennai, India, earning from Mookambigai Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli.

He has successfully navigated the complex landscape of lithium battery production, including establishing a lithium cell manufacturing setup in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. His global exposure extends to visits to leading battery and cell manufacturing facilities in China, such as Ganfeng Lithium, Cham CAB, Great Power, Acey, JXC Machineries, Neware, Lishen Energy & Gotion High Tech, which have greatly enhanced his industry knowledge.
Undeterred, Michael founded his own company in 2016, focusing on delivering customized solutions for lithium battery production. His extensive experience across various types of vessels, particularly dynamic positioning vessels, has shaped his approach to innovation and problem-solving in the energy sector.
Michael’s career is a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence. In 2011, while working on a seismic survey vessel powered by four diesel generators, he envisioned upgrading the vessel to an energy storage system using lithium batteries—an idea that was his brainchild. However, in 2015, he faced significant challenges sourcing even a 10 kW battery pack in India. This obstacle led him to collaborate with a team in China to procure a 20-kW battery pack, which unfortunately did not succeed due to incompatibility with inverters and other specifications in the Indian market.
Today, Michael Wilson continues to drive organizational growth and lead talented teams toward sustainable energy solutions on a global scale, solidifying his legacy as a visionary leader in the green energy industry.
